Meet The Doctors
Dr. Kasey Singley
Veterinarian and Practice Owner
Dr. Kasey was born and raised in Baldwin County. She started working at AMC when she was a teenager during high school and junior college afternoons, weekends, summers and holiday breaks. She attended Auburn University and pursued her veterinary career at Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation in 2006, she was the recipient of the Gentle Doctor Award.
She joined Animal Medical Center in 2008, became a partner with Dr. John Heilmeier in 2016 and became the sole practice owner in January of 2022. Dr. Kasey has carried on the same hometown practice environment started by Dr. Heilmeier in 1997. In fact, this was one of the reasons she chose to join this veterinary practice as far back as she can remember because she wants all of her clients and their precious pets to feel right at home when they come to see her and her staff.

Dr. Meghan Brumby
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Meghan has been with us at Animal Medical Center since 2019. She received her bachelor degree in animal science and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida. After veterinary school, Dr. Meghan completed an internship focused on sports medicine and rehabilitation. Prior to moving to Foley, she practiced at a small animal clinic near Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
In addition to small animal medicine, Dr. Meghan also offers acupuncture for a variety of conditions. Outside of work, she enjoys going for runs with her dog, Gibbs, and spending time with her 2 cats, Moe and Amber.

Dr. Scarlett Anderson
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Scarlett was raised in Baldwin County since the age of 2. She always wanted to be a veterinarian so at the age of 15, she began working as a kennel assistant, she worked her way up to a veterinary technician and continued this through high school. She attended the University of the South in Tennessee for her undergraduate where she met her husband, Brian, who was also in pre-vet. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2004. She went on to receive her Masters of Science in Biology from Auburn University in 2005 and then her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn in 2009. After graduation, she and her husband settled in Pigeon Forge, TN, next to the Great Smoky Mountains where she worked as an Associate Veterinarian for 5 years. After enjoying the mountain life, she felt like the waters of Baldwin County were calling her home.
For the past 8 years she and her husband have worked as associate veterinarians in Baldwin County. She joined the staff of Animal Medical Center in March of 2022. She and her husband have 3 beautiful children, a lovable older dog, Sweetie, and a small herd of fabulous feline friends.
